A three day training program was conducted by Steinbeis, Germany and Kraftwork Solar Pvt Ltd at the Albertian Institute of Technology in Kalamassery on the 22nd,23rd and 24th of March 2013. The workshop, one of its kind to be conducted in Kerala, offered in-depth practical and theoretical knowledge to the participants, which included engineering students, lecturers and practicing electricians .
The number of participants were limited to 30 to allow for better interaction and effective knowledge transfer. Considering the success of this program and due to the demand from other districts in Kerala, we intend to carry out additional training sessions covering all district headquarters . The current situation of the Solar Industry is similar to what the IT industry experienced nearly15 to 20 years ago with regard to the shortage of trained professionals. The demand for trained professionals and employment opportunities in the Solar energy sector is set to grow in the coming months and years as the State Goverments roll out plans and policies for 2000MV power generation. The demand for well-trained professionals can be addressed to some extent by training programs such as this one. Kraftwork Solar Pvt Ltd in association with Steinbeis Centre for Technology Transfer is conducting a three day training programme on solar PV system design and Installation. The training will be held on 23rd, 24th and 25th March 2013 at the Albertien Institute Of Technology,Kalamassery ,Ernakulam.
